Is Simplicity the best choice for everyone? No. Simplicity is a focused web publishing platform with a clear mission to bring simplicity to our customers. This means we strive for excellence in the things we do, including in deciding what not to do. Following is a list of the kinds of websites that are better served by other platforms.
  • Large-scale integrated E-Commerce sites
  • Your site is basically an application (such as a game)
  • You need built-in customer accounts
  • Different editors should only be able to modify some parts of your site
  • You have an aversion to well-structured sites

Though you may find value in building your main site on Simplicity, and link or embed your e-store.

Site Maintenance

Can I backup my complete site? Yes. And it only takes one click once enabled in settings.
How do I transfer my site? Simply unpack your backup file on the new server.

Security and Privacy

Does Simplicity use any third-party services? No. Simplicity does not use or connect to any third-party services.
When using an external link, will the destination know where I came from? No. Simplicity instructs your browser to not tell the destination site where you came from. There is no reason the destination site should know what page you visited before.
